Birkat Hackamah.

Yeah, what is it?  It’s a special blessing – the least frequently recited blessing in Judiasm – said only every 28 years, when the sun returns to the same position, at the same time of the week, that it occupied at the time of its creation.  (That’s the beginning of the fourth day of creation, for those of you keeping score.)

Wednesday, April 8, 2009 – after sunrise, but before a quarter of the day has passed, say THIS:

Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the universe, who reenacts the works of creation.

You may add the word, “Dude” after the prayer if you wish.

Those with OCD can find out the exact best time to say the prayer according to their flippin zip code.
